LieuTENANT Governor: Gayle McLaughlin (No Party Preference-Independent)

Corporate-Money-Free Former Two-Term Mayor of Richmond (the East Bay City I grew up in & and helped lead a progressive movement to rid the city government of Chevron control and corruption with the RPA-Richmond Progressive Allliance

United States Senate: #NotFeinstein-Pat Harris or Kevin de Leon

This race has been a shitshow, and has divided the left, but if there is one thing that Progressives can agree on it's #NotFeinstein.

I have been incredibly disappointed in Progressive Democrats/Berniecrats in this race for not getting Our Shit Together. Over this campaign season, I have gotten the chance to meet & question the Triple-H Trio of David Hildebrand, Alison Hartson, & Pat Harris, and although I am disappointed in the lack of ability to coalesce around one Corporate-Money-Free candidate, I have been the most impressed with Pat Harris, who managed to get 5% at the California Democratic Party Convention, which was 32% less than Feinstein, whose 37% lost to Kevin de Leon's 54%, which was only 6% short of the State Party endorsement, which would have pretty much knocked her out of the race. Unfortunately that did not happen, so there's a tough choice, and I recommend to vote your conscience, if your #1 priority is knocking out Feinstein & and you are ok with supporting some Establishment, Corporate Democrats, then vote for Kevin de Leon, the current President of the California State Senate, and ensure that he makes the Top Two against Feinstein, but if this goes against your principles, then I urge you to vote for Pat Harris, who is a Civil Rights attorney that has taken some of the largest corporations in the world to court and won, and has truly progressive politics, supporting Healthcare for All, Tuition Free Education, and Taxing the Rich

Attorney General: Dave Jones

  • Xavier Becerra is the incumbent, but he was appointed by Governor Brown after Kamala Harris was elected to the U.S. Senate, and he is being challenged from the Criminal Justice Reform Left by Dave Jones, the current California State Insurance Commissioner. The major difference between the two is their view on the Death Penalty, Becerra supports it, Jones is opposed, and honestly that is enough for me, and hopefully should be enough for you too, because Justice should never look like Death

Superintendent of Public Instruction: #NotMarshalltuck-Tony Thurmond

  • Marshall Tuck is run by the Charter School Industry, and although I am not the biggest fan of Tony(he is my Assemblymember) because of his hesitance to push the progressive envelope, even though he represents one of the most progressive districts in the State, in this election the choice is clear, support Tony Thurmond for State Superintendent of Public InstructionXavier Becerra is the incumbent, but he was appointed by Governor Brown after Kamala Harris was elected to the U.S. Senate, and he is being challenged from the Criminal Justice Reform Left by Dave Jones, the current California State Insurance Commissioner. The major difference between the two is their view on the Death Penalty, Becerra supports it, Jones is opposed, and honestly that is enough for me, and hopefully should be enough for you too, because Justice should never look like Death Penalty
